My Experience

I began as a counsellor over 30 years ago with National Marriage Guidance, now known as Relate. I worked with them as a counselling trainer and a relationship counselling supervisor, I was with the organisation for over 10 years.

In addition I trained and worked in the drug and alcohol field as a counsellor, educator and counselling supervisor. I worked with organisations such as Alcohol Concern, London Transport and a variety of other drug and alcohol counselling organisations. I became Director of the Hertfordshire Alcohol Problems Advisory Service and was part of Alcohol Concern's counselling accreditation panel.

Current & EMDR practice

I have my own online practice and offer individual counselling in addition to couples counselling and counselling supervision. I also offer trauma support as an EMDR certified practitioner (EMDR Europe). EMDR is useful when supporting those who have experienced PTSD and complex trauma.
